STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
"Hospital" refers to Acacia Park Hospital, its staff, medical professionals, employees, and authorized agents.
"Patient" or "Client" refers to any individual receiving medical care, services, or purchasing products from the Hospital.
"Services" refers to consultations, inpatient/outpatient care, specialist clinic visits, diagnostic tests, home care, surgical procedures, and medication dispensations.
2.1. All prices for consultations, procedures, lab tests, and medications are based on the Hospital's official fee schedule active at the time of service.
2.2. The Hospital reserves the right to adjust service fees without prior notice, provided that quoted rates for confirmed appointments or pre-booked procedures are honored.
2.3. Emergency, after-hours, or specialized home care services may incur additional charges as outlined in our rate cards.
3.1. Outpatient & Self-Pay Services: Payment for consultations, diagnostics, and over-the-counter/prescription medications is due in full at the time of service or checkout.
3.2. Inpatient Admissions: A mandatory deposit or pre-authorization is required prior to or upon admission. Invoices are generated periodically and must be settled upon discharge or as agreed in writing.
3.3. Payment Methods: We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, electronic funds transfer (EFT), and approved mobile money payments.
4.1. The Hospital accepts select health insurance and medical aid plans. Patients must present valid identification and active insurance details prior to treatment.
4.2. Co-payments, deductibles, or non-covered services must be paid directly by the patient at the time of service.
4.3. If an insurance provider denies or delays coverage for any reason, the patient remains fully and personally liable for the outstanding balance.
5.1. Scheduling: Specialist and routine clinic appointments must be booked through official Hospital channels (website, phone, or front desk).
5.2. Cancellations: Patients must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
5.3. Late Cancellations / No-Shows: Failure to attend a scheduled appointment or cancelling without sufficient notice may incur a late fee.
6.1. Pharmaceuticals: Due to health regulations and safety standards, prescription and non-prescription medications cannot be returned or exchanged once they have left the pharmacy premises.
6.2. Medical Supplies & Equipment: Unopened and defective durable medical equipment purchased directly from the hospital may be exchanged within 7 days with proof of purchase, subject to inspection.
7.1. Medical care involves inherent risks. While the Hospital's licensed medical staff exercises the highest standards of professional care, outcome guarantees cannot be made.
7.2. The Hospital is not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings brought onto the premises unless handed over to administration for safe custody with an official receipt.
8.1. All personal details and medical records collected during consultation and billing are strictly confidential.
8.2. Patient data will be processed and stored in accordance with relevant medical privacy and data protection laws. Information will only be disclosed to third parties (such as insurance providers) with explicit consent or as required by law.
Notice: These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of medical services, treatments, consultations, pharmaceuticals, home care services, and related healthcare products supplied by Acacia Park Hospital. By accessing our services, making a booking, or purchasing products, you agree to be bound by these terms.
